Gary Whitfield has served GHAFI first as a Director, four terms as Vice President, and currently as President.
Gary graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1975. His aviation career includes:
T-38 Instructor Pilot training students and new T-38 instructors. He received the Flying Training Award, highest check ride average in his Air Force Pilot Training Class. He was one of the pilots in the original Air Force Aim High ads that ran in Time, Flying, and Air Force magazines.
Gary has more than 45 years of experience flying fixed wing (and some rotor time), including Air Force, Corporate, Charter, and Airline, from an Aeronca Champ to the B747-400, from Sydney to Singapore to Bangkok across to Paris, Frankfort, Rome, and many, many points in between. Throw in south to Haiti, Peru, and Bolivia, and he has still only seen about half of this planet, maybe less.
